joe paterno is by all means should be held accountable for his coaches actions. no he didnt lay a hand on the kids himself but he allowed a man to, so for all the students & kids joe pa did help he completely blew this one off, this being the absolute worse of them all. as a man, head coach, parent, anyone with any moral beliefs how do you just let this guy get away with this. oh yeah when the guy (sandusky) retires you give him the access to the entire athletic department, yeah that makes alot of sense. yes paterno is getting a whole lot of heat cause by another man but lets be serious paterno IS now WAS penn st. if he says the guy has to go back when he supposively reported the matter then sandusky would have been gone. i also do believe that as a head coach of any football program the head coach is allowed to fire a defensive cord. but ya know what paterno let it go because unfortunately the guy was a good def cord & was helping win games so therefor paterno put winning over these kids & that should equal a tarnished & forever long mark on everything paterno did. this is whats wrong with college sports, all that matters anymore is 1-money & 2-winning, because obviously in this situation thats all that mattered. anyone who sticks up for any of these people that had knowledge of this disgusting man should be guilty by association period. i honestly dont know how anyone unless your as sick as them cant see the wrong in this. these were all adults letting this happen, someone tell me when did the kids actually matter!??!!

there seriously needs to be a reality check in college sports. its starting to become a joke. how does the ncaa let a university sweep this under the carpet for so long? give me a break, i hope penn st is severly hurt from this for a long time. i wish there was a way to discipline the ncaa directors during that time as well. there should be no saving face for any of these people including the historic joe paterno.

Why do you think Sandusky retired at 55 and was never hired by anyone else. The whole coaching community probably knew about this if the truth were known or had at least heard about it through the rumor mill. It appears everyone at Penn St (at least in the athletic dept) knew about it and joked about it. Absolutely disgusting.

Truly one of the if not the biggest downfalls in college sports history. Its just so disappointing that it turned out this way. JoePa will forever be a legend but will also have the black cloud right behind his legacy. ALSO why isn't McQueery fired/ran out of state college. He has the most knowledge behind Sandusky of what happened yet ran to his dad and that was it! He shouldn;t be on the sidelines this Saturday, and if he is, I hope the student section embarasses him

I read these old threads and they are all so laughable . People jumping to all these conclusions with zero info

I wonder why he didn't leave the "victim" in a "car" like he did at Penn State? I'm sure 10 yrs from now he'll think it happened in May 2018

Mike McQueary helps crash victim in driving rain
The high-profile former Penn State quarterback and assistant coach said he "did what anyone else would do" Thursday.

This further proves what fraud his shower story is.

One of the most amazing and vastly underreported pieces of evidence in this case is the fact that the nearly 14 year-old-boy in from the McQueary episode went on the the record several times (after the story broke locally and then again nationally) to fully support Jerry Sandusky and to say that he was never molested by him.
Although I can't be sure, since it appears now that both of the newspapers which ran Victim 2's letter to the editor have mysteriously scrubbed the evidence from their website (unless they are having a massive, website-wide, problem, the Lockhaven newspaper apparently did so right after Dottie Sandusky's recent appearance on the Today Show), I have decided to post the original edition of the Centre Daily Times in which the letter first appeared.
Here is that letter (titled "Second Mile Kid Speaks Out") in a form which can never be scrubbed from the historical record:

The fact that this letter has been needlessly scrubbed from both websites (and that the second scrubbing apparently occurred with highly suspicious timing) is once again perfectly consistent with what I believe did and did not really happen here.http://www.framingpaterno.com/exclu...ng-sandusky-after-sara-ganim-article-came-out
